- Click on Home –> Bullets and Numbering option from Paragraph group. Bullets and numbering drop-down appear.
- Select desired bullets or number styles from the drop-down list.
- The bullets and numbered list will be applied to your content.

- Select the portion in the document where bullets are applied.
- Click on Home –> Bullets and Numbering option from Paragraph group.
- Select None.

Symbols are signs or special characters that can be inserted in a word document. For example hearts, stars, arrows etc.
Change Case

[1] What are the ways to check spelling and grammar mistakes in MS Word?
MS Word checks for spelling and grammatical mistakes by its feature called Spelling and Grammar.
It indicates red zigzag or wavy underlines for spelling mistakes, blue and green for grammatical mistakes.
There are three ways to check spelling and grammar in MS Word:
- Do right click on mistake and select the correct option from the menu
- Go to Review –> Spelling and Grammar option
- Short cut key F7
[2] How to check spelling and grammar using review tab?
- Place the cursor from where you want to start spelling and grammar.
- Click on Review –> Spelling & Grammar option from the proofing tab.
- Select the correct spelling from the suggestions opened in the suggestions box.
- Click on the change button to change once or the Change All button to change all occurrences of the word.
- Repeat these steps the message appears – “Spelling and Grammar check is complete”
- Click on OK.
[3] How to check the synonyms of a word in MS Word document?
- Select a word to check synonym.
- Click on Review –> Thesaurus from Proofing group.
- Select the desired word from the Thesaurus pane available on the right side of your document.
- If you wish to copy it, point your mouse cursor on the word and click the Insert or copy option.
- Return to your main document when finished.

[4] How to replace a word in MS Word?
- Click on Home –> Replace option from from editing group.
- The Find and Replace dialog box appears.
