April 2023 Split up Syllabus 2023-24 Informatics Practices Class 12
As we have started the new academic year from 01/04/2023 for class 12. Here I have planned to cover these topics in April 2023 from Unit 1 data handling using pandas – I topic of class 12 informatics practices syllabus 2023-24.
- Introduction to Python libraries– Pandas, Matplotlib.
- Data structures in Pandas – Series and Data Frames.

- Head and Tail functions
- Selection
- Indexing and Slicing
- Creation of a Series from
These topics will be covered in approximately 8 to 10 periods in theory and practicals 10 periods.
The students have summer vacation for the entire month of May 2023. The school will reopen in June. So in the next session of Split up Syllabus 2023-24 Informatics Practices Class 12, we will discuss the topics that will be covered in June 2023.

June 2023 Split up Syllabus 2023-24 Informatics Practices Class 12
In June our school will reopen after summer vacation. So I have planned these topics should be covered in June 2022 from Unit I – Data handling using pandas – I topic of IP class 12 syllabus 2022-23.

July 2023 Split up Syllabus 2023-24 Informatics Practices Class 12
In the month of July 2023, we have Periodic Test 1. So we have 17 working days for the same. I have planned to cover these topics from Unit 1 Data Handling using Pandas I from informatics practices class 12.

August 2023 Split up Syllabus 2023-24 Informatics Practices Class 12
After removing few holidays in August we have 23 working days. The following topics will be covered from the syllabus IP class 12.

In September 2023, I have planned to cover these topics from Unit II Database Query using SQL and Introduction to computer networks.

Here I have taken two units together to balance theory and practical topics together. According to my school calendar in the month of October, we have Periodic Test 2 or Half-yearly examination followed by Diwali Vacation. So I have only few working days in the month of October 2023.
These 2 days I have planned revision for the Periodic test 2 or half-yearly examination. The school will open regularly in the month of November and I have planned to cover these topics in the month of November 2023.
November 2023 Split up syllabus 2023-24 IP class 12
The following topics are going to be covered in the month of November 2023.
Unit II: Database Query using SQL
Date Functions:
NOW (), DATE (), MONTH (), MONTHNAME (), YEAR (), DAY (), DAYNAME ()
Unit III: Introduction to Computer Networks
Introduction to Internet, URL, WWW, and its applications- Web, email, Chat, VoIP. Website: Introduction, the difference between a website and webpage, static vs dynamic web page, web server and hosting of a website.
December 2023 Split up Syllabus Class 12 IP
We have a complete and full month of December as per our school’s annual calendar. So I will try to complete the syllabus this month only. These topics will be covered this month.
Unit II: Database Query using SQL
Aggregate Functions: MAX (), MIN (), AVG (), SUM (), COUNT (); COUNT (*).
Querying and manipulating data using Group by, Having, Order by.
Unit III : Introduction to computer networks
Web Browsers: Introduction, commonly used browsers, browser settings, add-ons and plug-ins, cookies.
Unit IV: Societal Impacts
Digital footprint, net and communication etiquettes, data protection, intellectual property rights (IPR), plagiarism, licensing and copyright, free and open-source software (FOSS), cybercrime and cyber laws, hacking, phishing, cyberbullying, an overview of Indian IT Act.
E-waste: hazards and management. Awareness about health concerns related to the usage of technology
